On December 27, 2018, Vietnam Forest Protection and Development Fund cooperated with the Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment to organize a training course: Developing maps of payment for forest environmental services
Training: "Developing maps of payment for forest environmental services"
On 27/12/2018, the training course: "Developing maps of payment for forest environmental services" is organized at G5 Hall – Viet Nam National University of Forestry. The training was hosted by Vietnam Forest Protection and Development Fund cooperates with Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment. Participants in the training course are rangers, officers at Forest Protection and Development Fund of 14 provinces from Thua Thien Hue onwards.
The training has some main contents like the following:
  • A representative of Viet Nam Forest Protection and Development Fund gave the opening speech
  • A representative of Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment gave the welcome speech
  • Trainers practiced V5PFES software
Training material: "Handbook for developing a map of payment for forest environmental services" compiled by the Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment.

Overview of training couse
At the end of the training course, the participants basically carried out the operations on the software. Institute forForest Ecology and Environment also creates an email address for later dicussion between authors and technical staffs during the application of software in reception location.
