In order to enhance the technique for the staffs working of payment for forest environmental services (PFES) at branches, the Forest Protection and Development Fund of Son La province and the Institute of Forest Ecology and Environment have collaborated and organized the course "Technical training to review and adjust the database as a basis for developing PFES map in 2019".

In order to improve the effectiveness of PFES, it is necessary to improve the technique for the staffs at the branches of Son La Forest Protection and Development Fund. On June 3th/4th, 2019, the Forest Protection and Development Fund organized a training course: "Technical training to review and adjust the database as a basis for developing PFES payment map in 2019" with time, place and participants are as follows:

- Time: 8:00 to 17:00 on 03, June 3^th/4^th, 2019
- Place: Sao Xanh Hotel, Moc Chau town, Moc Chau district, Son La province
- Participants: The staff are working at the branches of Son La Forest Protection and Development Fund
Lecturers of the training course are PFES consultants of the Institute of Forest Ecology and Environment. The main contents of the training course include:
-Introducing reasons and techniques for database review and adjustment
-Introducing materials for review and adjustment
-Technical guidance on database review and adjustment
-Introducing GeoPfes application in forestry
-Installing guidance for GeoPfes application
- PracticingGeoPfes application in the fieldwork

At the end of the training course, the participating staff have installed and proficiently used GeoPfes tools to serve the review and adjustment of PFES database.
