Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment (IFEE) is the consulting unit for carrying out the mission: “Providing and supporting techniques for Don Duong Forestry Single Member Liability Limited Company (SoFC) for reaching the international standards in Sustainable Forest Certification (SFM) which is issued by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Spatial Analysis as a Tool for Developing Provincial REDD+ Action Plans Handbook

This handbook is the product of a collaboration between the Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment – Viet Nam University of Forestry and the UN-REDD Viet Nam Phase II Programme. Phase II of the Viet Nam National Programme began implementation in 2013 building on the key achievements of the Phase I programme (2009-2012). It is designed to reduce emissions in six provinces, working with provincial, district and commune authorities, local communities and the private sector, with the objective to “enhance Viet Nam’s ability to benefit from future results-based payments for REDD+ and undertake transformational changes in the forestry sector”.

Sharing experience of the task relating to Sustainable forest management (SFM) and Forest Certification of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

On 26/02/2018, at meeting room E – A3 building – Vietnam National University of Forestry, The Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment (IFEE) held the meeting “Sharing experience of the task relating to Sustainable forest management (SFM) and Forest Certification of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)” for all researchers and accountants of IFEE.

Acceptance council at the grassroots level of the project: Reviewing, adjusting the planning for forest protection, restoration and sustainable development in the Central Highlands up to 2025 with orientation to 2030

The project “Reviewing, adjusting the planning for forest protection, restoration and sustainable development in the Central Highlands up to 2025 with an orientation to 2030” was implemented by the venture of Institute for Forest Ecology and Environment and Research Institute for Forest Ecology and Environmental. Up to now, the project has finished reports and adjusted planning maps. On December 1st, 2017, at room 301, A3 building, Forest Protection Department, acceptance council at the grassroots level was carried out to evaluate the project results.
